Yee Xiong, President

Background: I have lived in the Seattle area since 1980. My family settled in the small town of Carnation and I grew up there, attending Carnation Elementary and Tolt High School. I graduated valedictorian of my class in 1992 and was awarded the Presidential Scholarship. I attended college at Seattle University and earned my BS Electrical Engineering in 1996. Since then, I have concentrated my career in Aviation, working at The Boeing Company, Flight Dynamics (now Rockwell Collins), Smiths Aerospace (now GE Avionics), and Universal Avionics Systems Corporation. I have a passion for building a strong Hmong community, leadership, and maintaining culture and arts within the Hmong community. My strong ties with the community helps me with my role as a community organizer.
